Fair Play & Community Rules

Last updated: 16 October 2026 · Effective: 16 October 2026

The short version

1.Why fair play matters

Ampe is a game of quick eyes and honest feet. The leaderboards only mean something if every score was really played. These rules are part of our Terms of Service, and they apply to everyone who plays.

2.How scores are verified

3.What is not allowed

4.Display names

Your display name and country are public: they appear on leaderboards, on friends' screens and in notifications. A name must:

The game automatically blocks some words. That filter cannot catch everything, so these rules apply whatever it lets through. Choosing your own country is fine. Please choose the one you really play from or represent.

5.Reporting a problem

To report a cheating score, an offensive name or a bug, email [email protected] with the subject "Report". Include the display name, the country, the leaderboard (global, country, friends, weekly or Daily Rush) and a screenshot if you can. We review every report. We may not be able to tell you the outcome, to protect the other player's privacy.

6.What we may do

If we reasonably believe a rule was broken, we act in proportion to what happened, its seriousness and whether it has happened before. Depending on the case, we may:

  1. reject or remove runs and scores, or reset a leaderboard entry;
  2. change a display name to a neutral default (such as "Player1234");
  3. remove currencies, items, progress or rewards that were gained unfairly;
  4. hide the account from leaderboards, or restrict features such as invites, for a period;
  5. suspend the account temporarily;
  6. close the account permanently, for serious or repeated breaches.

People make these decisions, using evidence such as failed verifications, impossible results and reports. Before we suspend or close an account, we will normally tell you which rule we believe was broken and give you a chance to respond. We tell you in the game or by any contact details we have. We may act first and explain afterwards if waiting would let the harm continue, or if the law requires it. We may also reset whole leaderboards, for example weekly boards, or after a rule change, and that is not a penalty.

When an account is closed for a serious breach, its Virtual Items end without refund, except where the law requires a refund (see Virtual Items).

8.Changes to these rules

We may update these rules as the game grows, and every version is listed on our Changes page. For material changes, we will tell you in the game before they apply.
